GEICO Announces Auto Insurance Rate Decreases for Georgia Drivers

GEICO is good news for motorists in the Peach State: a new auto insurance rate plan that will save Georgia drivers money. Evaluation plan is already in force for new policies and will be effective II 8 for renewal policies.

"On average, current GEICO policyholders will receive a 2.3 percent decline for the same Coverage’s," said Dina Pohnpeian, Assistant Vice President of the obligations of responsibility for GEICO's Southeast operations. "The amendments to new business customers will automatically GEICO feet in Georgia even more competitive for consumers. This is particularly important, because some other companies are raising their auto insurance rates in Georgia, at the same time, we are lowering our own."

The new low rates have increased from GEICO policyholder growth in Georgia, where he is currently the fourth-largest insurer in the country. The rate decreases are possible due to a combination of factors, including changes in the range of courses, the introduction of additional discounts and hard work in the 4079 GEICO associates in the office of the company Macon.

"Our associates to improve the quality and efficiency helped to make these lower rates possible for Georgia consumers," said Shawn Burklin, regional Vice President of GEICO's Southeast operations. "I am proud of Macon team and know what they can. We can assure our policyholders more savings, and we hope to attract new customers with lower rates."

Overall premium changes for individual drivers will vary based on factors such as Coverage’s purchased, geographic area, and type of vehicle, the characteristics of risk and which qualify for discounts.

Georgia residents may also notice GEICO increased marketing of the slate of television, radio and press, as part of "New Low Prices in Georgia" campaign.

GEICO (Government Employees Insurance) is the third-largest private passenger auto insurer in the United States on the basis of the latest 12 months written premium. It offers auto insurance nearly 8.5 million policyholders and provides more than 14.4 million vehicles.
